Kia PV7 teased ahead of World Premiere at IAA Transportation

Ahead of its unveiling at the IAA Transportation event in September, Kia has released teaser images and a video showcasing the Kia PV7, a new all-electric Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) model that marks the brand's entry into the light commercial vehicle (LCV) segment. Building upon Kia's existing PBV lineup, which already includes the PV5, the PV7 provides enhanced space and capability to cater to the expanding requirements of business customers, spanning a wider array of commercial and lifestyle applications.

The teaser visuals present the PV7 in various everyday environments, emphasizing its versatility in diverse lifestyles and work contexts. Its one-box design merges a harmonious silhouette with a sturdy and assured presence, accentuated by the black hood and pillar embellishments, which stand out against the body color. Complemented by Kia's signature front and rear lamp graphics, these design elements firmly establish the PV7's unique visual identity within Kia's PBV portfolio.

Constructed on the dedicated E-GMP.S platform, the PV7 is the second dedicated PBV offering from Kia following the PV5's introduction. As a cornerstone of Kia's PBV strategy, the PV7 and its forthcoming iterations will further augment the lineup and expand Kia's business mobility solutions. Kia's global debut of the PV7 is scheduled for September 14, 2026, at the prestigious IAA Transportation exhibition in Hannover, Germany.

This showcase will coincide with the unveiling of various PV5 derivatives, underscoring the adaptability and scalability of Kia's PBV approach. The exhibition will further illustrate Kia's enduring commitment to broadening its product offerings across a multitude of customer applications.
