Karachi Mayor Inaugurates Rs. 128 Million Upgraded Dual Carriageway

Karachi Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab officially opened an upgraded dual carriageway project in Block J, North Nazimabad on Thursday. Spanning 3,500 feet, the road improvement and rehabilitation initiative cost Rs. 128.3 million. The project aims to enhance travel safety and facilities for residents. The mayor highlighted the construction of the entire road stretch, a paved shoulder, and a 3,500-foot-long pedestrian pathway to improve access and safety for pedestrians.

Deputy Mayor Salman Abdullah Murad, PPP Parliamentary Leader Karamullah Waqasi, City Council members, elected officials, and other dignitaries attended the ceremony. Mayor Wahab emphasized that improving roads and urban infrastructure remains a top priority for the administration, with further developments planned across Karachi in the city's wider public interest.
