London Mayor Sadiq Khan has expressed his desire to host the fight at Wembley Stadium, calling on promoters to reach out about the possibility. "A message to the promoters: We want to host it in London. Talk to us; we are really keen to have it," Khan stated to BBC Sport.

The mayor emphasized that Wembley has previously hosted numerous successful events, including previous encounters between Tyson and Anthony. Fans are eager to witness the two British fighters compete live in London.

However, despite London's interest, the negotiations appear to have hit a dead end. Organizers and streaming platform Netflix reportedly favor New York's Madison Square Garden for a November showdown. Sources familiar with the proceedings indicate that there are currently no substantive talks regarding dates or schedules at the London venue.

The final decision on the venue is anticipated to be made soon, with Eddie Hearn, Joshua's promoter, pushing for an announcement this week. A press conference is scheduled for the following week.
