JISOO Cuts a Lonely Figure as a Theme Park Cyborg With a Heart In ‘CLICK’ Music Video: Watch

The BLACKPINK singer, JISOO, is making her solo career debut with "CLICK," a vibrant pop song accompanied by a striking music video. Joseph Kahn, known for his work with Taylor Swift, Britney Spears, and Eminem, helms the visual spectacle, which portrays a perpetually existing JISOO as a cyborg trapped in an abandoned theme park.

She is the only human soul amidst a desolate landscape. Her day brightens when she summons her robo-friends, some reminiscent of Chuck E. Cheese characters. A dashing robot suitor arrives, ready to "click" with JISOO. This lonely existence transforms into a joyful tale of friendship, reminiscent of films like Wall-E and Spielberg's AI, as well as J.F.

The film's heart lies in the CLICK Bear, symbolizing JISOO's diverse fanbase, hailing from various countries, speaking different languages, and leading varied lives. JISOO teased this solo venture last year with "EYES CLOSED," a collaboration with former One Direction member Zayn. The single reached No. 72 on the Billboard Hot 100, making BLACKPINK the first girl group with every member to enter the Hot 100 as solo artists.

BLACKPINK released the DEADLINE EP in February, following their Deadline World Tour. DEADLINE peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard 200, marking their first major music release since their 2022 No. 1 all-genres album, Born Pink. "CLICK" follows JISOO's 2025 debut mini album, AMORTAGE, which includes "earthquake" and "Your Love." JISOO initiated her solo journey in 2023 with the release of her self-titled EP, ME, becoming the first solo female artist in South Korea to sell over a million albums.
