Iran's Araghchi blasts Jordanian counterpart

Iran's Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi has harshly criticized his Jordanian counterpart, Ayman Safadi, for accusing Iran of launching attacks on countries in the region shortly after the onset of the war on Iran. In an Arabic post on his X account, Araghchi responded to Safadi's claim that Iran had attacked Jordan and other countries just two hours into the conflict, arguing that such an assertion is unfounded.

Araghchi questioned how long the Jordanian foreign minister believes Iran should wait before responding to aggression that disregards both Arab and Iranian sovereignty. He also pointed out that the initial U.S. attacks, which resulted in the deaths of innocent Iranians, utilized Arab airspace, territory, and waters, suggesting that Safadi is unaware of these facts.
