Hey Everyone! I’m Sanidhya from MLH

Meet Sanidhya Goel, a new MLH Hackathon Community Manager for Asia Pacific, who shares her exhilarating journey into the hacker community. Initially, Sanidhya wasn't a hacker; she became one through volunteering at her college's first hackathon, Code Kshetra, organized by Geek Room. Witnessing the camaraderie, teamwork, and joy of participants ignited her passion, leading her to participate and eventually organize hackathons.

Her first MLH encounter was at the Vihaan 007 hackathon, where she was captivated by the MLH booth and eagerly grabbed swag, disregarding the booth's significance. Post this, Sanidhya became the Lead of Geek Room and successfully organized Code Kshetra 2.0 as an MLH Member Event. This experience solidified her belief in the expansive global hacker network.

She applied to become an MLH Coach but had to wait a year for the opportunity. Upon joining the MLH team, Sanidhya quickly transitioned into event staffing. She had her share of challenges, including being the sudden event lead for Electrothon 8.0, thanks to a coach's sudden illness. Despite the pressure, this experience was transformative for her, cementing her dedication to the MLH mission.
