He insisted that the drivers have distinct setups for each track and that the team's oval performance has only improved due to O'Ward's efforts.

O'Ward's current fourth-place standing in the championship, just two points behind Lundgaard, has fueled the rivalry. Despite struggling on ovals this season, O'Ward maintains that his motivation for the finale is to finish as high as possible, regardless of where Lundgaard ends up in the standings.
