Former Washington Football Star LB Returning For 12th NFL Season

Former Washington Football star linebacker Shaq Thompson is set to return for his 12th season in the NFL with the Buffalo Bills. Thompson, a first-round pick by the Carolina Panthers in 2015, previously played for the Bills in his 11th NFL season. In 2025, he appeared in six games and started all 12, recording 56 tackles, 6 tackles for loss, a sack, and his first forced fumble since 2020.

Thompson, known for his impact on the AFC North, had a successful first stint with the Bills, making a key interception in the team's AFC Wild Card victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
