Forge Music Group Officially Launches: ‘Our Job Is to Bring Extraordinary People Together and Let Them Create’

Four music industry veterans — Matt Geffen, Ben Schecter, Charlie Perl, and Tim Jordan — have officially launched Forge Music Group, a new multi-sector entertainment company. Forge Management, Forge Records, and Forge Publishing will collaborate to assist artists, producers, and songwriters by combining strategic management with creative and commercial expertise.

Forge’s president, Ben Schecter, stated that the company operates during a unique era where music and art can reach global audiences like never before. Forge’s roster spans six continents, including Japanese rapper Yuki Chiba, singer-songwriters Nat & Alex Wolff, CARLA (a co-writer on Tame Impala and JENNIE’s “Dracula”), Joe Reeves, JULiA LEWiS, Southside and Wheezy, Ebubé, Avery Lynch, and Peter Lee Johnson.

Forge Management’s GM, Tim Jordan, emphasized that great records start with great producers and songwriters, offering talent the necessary support, space, and opportunities to excel. Forge Publishing represents artists such as Ebubé, Avery Lynch, and Grammy-winning producer Peter Lee Johnson, while Forge Records, an owner-operated label, focuses on building timeless artist careers with bixby, Carol Ades, and DJs Lucas Dekker and Jhay Rivas.

The company is also involved in film projects, including music supervision for the upcoming feature film Fleur, starring Halle Berry and Matthias Schoenaerts. Forge’s CEO, Matt Geffen, highlighted that the company is committed to bringing extraordinary people together and fostering their creativity. The four co-founders previously worked at The Revels Group and Coup D’État Music, which have contributed to major releases by artists like Drake, Kanye West, and Kendrick Lamar.
