Fernández is ready to face Coventry, says Maresca

Enzo Maresca, the City boss, has stated that Enzo Fernández is ready to join the squad for the upcoming Premier League match against Coventry. The Argentinian midfielder is among new signings Allan Elias and Iliman Ndiaye, who were brought in following the team's 4-1 win against Crystal Palace. With the transfer window closing, Maresca expressed satisfaction with the squad's composition for the upcoming season.

Fernández, who has only played 25 minutes for Chelsea this season, is expected to make his debut for City. Speaking at a press conference ahead of Saturday's game, Maresca praised Fernández's qualities, calling him a "winner" with a "winner's mentality." He also confirmed that Matheus Nunes, who missed the match to Selhurst Park, is fit to return and will be with the team by the following day.

However, Jeremy Doku, who has not featured since the Community Shield match, will not be available for selection. Maresca emphasized the importance of focusing on the upcoming Coventry match, as it is a crucial game for the team.
