The Nationals' new regime appreciated his five-tool potential and signing him as the number one pick. Willits has shown impressive five-tool potential with over 40 extra-base hits this season. His discipline and contact skills make him an above-average hitter.

Travis Bazzana, the second pick of the Cleveland Guardians, brought Australian talent to Major League Baseball. After hitting a sacrifice fly in his first game, Bazzana has continued to show his potential, hitting .235 with nine home runs after 27 games. Although his defensive skills and arm strength are below average, Bazzana's solid contact skills make him a promising above-average hitter.

Paul Skenes, the Pittsburgh Pirates' first draft pick in 2023, has had a successful pro career so far. He was a three-time All-Star, Rookie of the Year Winner, and Cy Young recipient. Skenes' impressive college career, including winning the College World Series and pitching 122 2/3 innings with 209 strikeouts, led to a dominant start in his pro career.

However, his velocity dip and control issues have resulted in a regression this season. As he addresses mechanical flaws, Skenes aims to improve his ERA, which currently sits near 4.00.
