Discover the Future of Learning: AI in Education

The Qatar National Library (QNL) is hosting a seminar titled “AI in Education – How AI Changes the Way We Learn” on September 9 from 10am to 11.30am in the Special Events Area. The event is open to teachers, students, parents, and education enthusiasts and will be conducted in English with Arabic interpretation available.

Participants will be introduced to the fundamental concepts of artificial intelligence (AI), such as rule-based systems, pattern recognition, and neural networks. The seminar will demonstrate how AI is already impacting classrooms and explore its responsible use to enhance teaching and learning.

For educators, AI can streamline routine tasks like lesson planning, generating quizzes, creating practice activities, and designing differentiated materials. It can also identify patterns in student performance, recommend areas requiring additional focus, and facilitate quicker, more personalized feedback. Furthermore, AI tools can assist teachers in adapting explanations to suit various ability levels, translating learning resources, and developing more inclusive lessons.

By alleviating the need for extensive preparation, teachers can devote more time to mentoring, engaging in discussions, fostering creativity, and interacting meaningfully with their students.
