For the second year in a row, the Handelsblatt, in collaboration with the Frankfurt Book Fair, Goldman Sachs and for the first time, the insurance company R+V, are awarding the Deutsche Wirtschaftsbuchpreis. A panel of experts will decide on the winner. In parallel, you, dear readers, have the opportunity to decide which book deserves the Leserpreis, thanks to an online vote that closes on the 2nd of October at noon.

The nominated books for this year's competition are: Joachim Bauer's "Menschlichkeit in digitalen Zeiten", Sven Beckert's "Kapitalismus", Anne Brorhilker and Traudl Bünger's "Cum/Ex, Milliarden und Moral", Andreas Hoffmann's "Die erfundene Bedrohung", Aya Jaff's "Broligarchie", Soumaya Keynes and Chad Bown's "How to Win a Trade War", Tina Klüwer's "Zukunft made in Germany", Mariana Mazzucato's "Ein Kapitalismus, der allen nützt", Bojan Pancevski's "Die Nord-Stream-Sprengung" and Konstantin Richter's "Dreihundert Männer".
