In Kerala, the Guruvayur Temple dedicated to Guruvayurappan, a form of Lord Krishna, is a major pilgrimage site. Located in Thrissur district, about 26 kilometers northwest of Thrissur city, the temple is among the 108 Abhimana Kshethrams of the Sri Vaishnava tradition.
