B.C. man who went missing in mountains for several days found alive

Stanislav Volo, a 43-year-old hiker from B.C., has been discovered alive after being missing for five days in the mountainous regions near Squamish. The search for Volo, who had last been seen at the Sea to Sky Gondola, culminated in his safe discovery on Indian Arm forest service road. He was found to be walking himself to safety, and was subsequently taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

The Squamish Search and Rescue organization, along with multiple other rescue teams, played a crucial role in locating Stanislav. Volo's sister, Ola, had appealing for assistance on social media, but the rescue team later cautioned the public against entering the Habrich area independently.
