Azets adds two new directors to debt advisory team

Accountancy firm Azets has expanded its debt advisory team with the addition of two senior directors. Matt Garside will oversee Scotland, while Lyle Ammon assumes the same role for the South region. This brings the specialist debt team to ten professionals.

Azets stated that the expansion enhances its capacity to provide businesses across the UK with independent funding advice. The firm's network of lenders and funding providers enables clients to secure optimal funding solutions for growth, investment, and long-term resilience.

Azets assists organizations in optimizing working capital, evaluating capital structures, and securing debt packages for operational liquidity and expansion. National head Mark Barrie noted that businesses are operating in an environment where preserving cash flow and maintaining financial flexibility are crucial. The firm continues to see strong demand for funding solutions from companies looking to enhance their financial position and navigate the evolving lending market.

Matt and Lyle bring extensive experience and will help clients access a variety of funding solutions, including invoice finance, asset-based lending, growth capital, refinancing, and acquisition funding. In July, Azets appointed Simon Prior as tax director for Devon and Cornwall. Last month, the company chose Jessica Lawrence as office managing partner in Leeds.
