A popular streamer turned down a 6-figure deal to play Arc Raiders because 'the game frustrated me so much'

Popular Twitch streamer TimTheTatman recently declined a lucrative six-figure deal to return to the game Arc Raiders, revealing that the game had frustrated him so much that even a substantial sum wouldn't entice him to play it again. In a stream earlier this week, he stated, "I said No thank you" to the offer, explaining, "I just can't do it, I'm sorry."

This decision left viewers baffled, as many questioned his choice and labeled him a "sellout." TimTheTatman emphasized that the game's frustration was the primary reason behind his refusal, adding, "Even to a point where six-figures isn't going to get me back on it."

Arc Raiders has been facing challenges in recent times, particularly due to issues like cheating and stream sniping. Embark Studios' executive producer, Aleksander Grøndal, acknowledged these shortcomings and announced that the upcoming major update, Frozen Trails, will reset the game and offer incentives to encourage players' return.
