2027: Wike not deceiving himself, he injured Atiku, Peter Obi too much – Lere Olayinka

Lere Olayinka, a spokesman for FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, claimed that the former Rivers State governor is cognizant of the potential consequences his political actions may provoke from former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, Peter Obi. Speaking on Arise Television's The Morning Show, Olayinka said Wike is aware of the significant deterioration in his political relationship with both Atiku and Obi, and he does not anticipate either of them to warm up to him should they win the 2027 presidential election.

"So what we are saying is that the man knows that he has injured Atiku too much. He has injured Peter Obi too much, and when you injure people politically, you should expect a kind of payback," Olayinka asserted. It should be noted that Wike had previously expressed apprehensions that Atiku and Obi might seek retribution against him if President Bola Tinubu fails to secure the 2027 presidential election.
