Two dead, several injured including police officers in Minneapolis shooting

Minneapolis, Minnesota experienced a tragic incident on September 3rd, resulting in the deaths of two individuals and multiple injuries, including police officers. A gunman opened fire in the US city, leading to the suspect's death, according to police spokesperson Garrett Parten. He also stated that it was unclear how the suspect had died.

Parten added that one person died at the scene, while four others were taken to the hospital, with one of them succumbing to their injuries later. Three police officers were also brought to the hospital, including two who were shot in the line of duty. Both are currently in stable condition, with one being in surgery. The severity of the third officer's injury has not been disclosed.

The motive behind the shooting remains unknown at this time. Governor Tim Walz requested that the public offer prayers for Minnesota, while FBI Director Kash Patel announced that FBI agents were responding to the incident. City officials are scheduled to hold a press conference later on Wednesday to provide further updates.
