TOR, GOIL explore further strategic collaboration

The Tema Oil Refinery (TOR) and Ghana Oil Company Limited (GOIL) convened a strategic meeting on September 02, 2026, to explore new avenues for collaboration in the production and distribution of petroleum products. This meeting, a follow-up to their existing business relationship, aimed to fortify cooperation within Ghana's downstream petroleum sector.

Edmond Kombat, TOR's Managing Director, provided an update on the refinery's operational progress, highlighting the successful execution of restart and supply processes. Kombat emphasized the refinery's renewed focus on operational discipline as it continues its restorative, transformational, and optimization journey.

The Ghana Oil Company Limited, a crucial off-take partner for TOR, plays a vital role in supporting the refinery's efforts to enhance the supply of petroleum products to the Ghanaian market. The strategic meeting also offered an opportunity for both entities to identify additional areas of collaboration, focusing on bolstering their strategic partnership to ensure a stable supply of petroleum products and market resilience.
