TOR, GOIL Explore Further Collaboration

Tema Oil Refinery (TOR) and Ghana Oil Company Limited (GOIL) convened a strategic meeting to examine additional collaboration prospects in the distribution and acquisition of petroleum products generated by the refinery. Leveraging their existing business partnership, Managing Director of GOIL and his team listened attentively to insights shared by Managing Director of TOR, Mr. Edmond Kombat.

Mr. Kombat spotlighted TOR's significant progress in expanding refinery operations, emphasizing the seamless handling of ongoing restart and supply processes as a testament to the refinery's enhanced operational discipline. GOIL, as a vital off-take partner for TOR, remains crucial in TOR's efforts to augment petroleum product supply to the Ghanaian market.

The collaboration dialogue also served as a platform for both entities to pinpoint further areas of cooperation amidst TOR's Resetting, Transformation and Optimisation initiatives. The talks centered on reinforcing petroleum product supply stability, bolstering market resilience, promoting price consistency at retail outlets, and bolstering an efficient and dependable downstream petroleum sector.
