These New Robot Vacuums, Mops, Mowers and Pool Cleaners Will Try to Convince Us They’re Maintenance-Free

Roborock, a company renowned for its innovative robot cleaning devices, is set to showcase an array of new products at the 2026 IFA trade show in Berlin. The focus of their display is on enhancing the performance and ease of maintenance for their flagship robot vacuums, wet and dry mops, robot mowers, and pool-cleaning robots. Roborock's president, Ricky Ma, stated that their goal is to free up customers' time by automating and enhancing everyday tasks, emphasizing that building smarter robots is their ultimate aim.

One of the standout models is the Saros 20 Neo, which is designed to handle complex home layouts. This model boasts a powerful suction of 36,000 pascals, lidar navigation for obstacle detection, and AI capabilities to recognize over 300 types of obstacles. It stands out for its slim design, measuring just 8.98 centimeters thick, making it the thinnest robot vacuum on the market.

Additionally, it comes with a self-cleaning docking station that washes, dries, and refills the mop, while also emptying and dispensing detergent. The Neo is expected to launch in the US before October.

Another interesting model is the Saros 20 Flow Complete, which is similar to the Neo but designed to tackle more complex home layouts. It features dual-lifting side brushes for edge cleaning, an AdaptLife system for navigating double thresholds up to 8.8 cm, and a self-cleaning, self-emptying docking station. The Flow Complete will also launch in the US before October, with details on pricing and availability yet to be confirmed.

For wet and dry mopping tasks, Roborock has unveiled the F25 Ultra Steam Gen 2 and F25 Pro Turbo Combo. The F25 Ultra Steam Gen 2 stands out with its ability to output twice as much steam as its predecessor, allowing it to tackle grease and stains more effectively. It features a robotic arm for cleaning under furniture, automatic cleaning adjustments for different flooring types, and a self-cleaning and drying mechanism.

The F25 Pro Turbo Combo is marketed as a jack-of-all-trades, combining wet and dry vacuuming capabilities in a single unit. It has a suction power of 25,000 pascals, assisted wheels, and a scraper to prevent hair tangling. This model is expected to launch in the US on September 28.

On the lawn care front, Roborock will introduce the RockNeo Q2 Lidar, a wire-free robot mower with no need for boundary wires or RTK beacons. This mower can navigate diverse yards, handle slopes up to 45%, and cut edges as narrow as 60 centimeters. It features a three-blade cutting system and is IPx6 waterproof. The charging station includes a built-in Wi-Fi amplifier for improved connectivity to the app, allowing users to manage mowing zones and cutting routines.

The RockNeo Q2 will be available in the US upon its launch. Lastly, Roborock is set to unveil the RockAqua P1, their new pool cleaner, which promises to be the first robotic pool cleaner capable of cleaning the entire pool without the need for traditional boundary wiring.
