Son of ex-Super Eagles defender, Emenalo, joins Celtic from Chelsea

Landon Emenalo, a son of former Super Eagles defender and ex-Chelsea technical director Michael Emenalo, has been signed on loan by Scottish football giants Celtic from Chelsea. The 18-year-old, proficient in both defense and midfield, will spend the season in Scotland to gain crucial first-team experience. Emenalo was part of Chelsea’s senior squad for their pre-season tour in Asia and Australia, where he played in their match against A-League club Western Sydney Wanderers.

Chelsea expressed confidence that the move would provide Emenalo with valuable top-flight experience and wished him "good luck" during his time at Celtic. Landon joined Chelsea's Academy at the age of seven and progressed through their youth system, becoming a regular starter for the Under-21s and contributing to Chelsea's success in the Under-18s championship.

The loan deal will allow Emenalo to gain regular senior football experience and further develop his skills outside the Chelsea Academy. Chelsea will continue to monitor the young player's progress during his time in Scotland.
