Self-governance needed to address local issues: MP Sribharat

Visakhapatnam Member of Parliament M. Sribharat emphasized the importance of enhancing self-governance at the local level to tackle everyday concerns in residential neighborhoods. During his visit to the Rajiv Swagruha residential complex in Santhoshimatha Colony within the 45th Ward, he met with residents, outlined the welfare and development initiatives of the ruling coalition, and shared pamphlets detailing their plans.

Additionally, he toured the JNNURM housing complex to inquire about living conditions and challenges faced by the residents. Sribharat assured that issues related to the infrastructure of the 216 houses would be reported to the Grama Vikas Mandal (GVMC) authorities for a solution. He encouraged residents to bolster self-governance through their residents' society, uphold cleanliness, and ensure that water pipelines and drainage systems remained unobstructed.

Sribharat stressed that a collective effort would contribute to maintaining a hygienic and efficiently managed residential setting.
