Sandra Bullock Shocks ‘Extra’ Host by Crashing His Interview 40 Years After They Waited Tables Together

Sandra Bullock made an unexpected appearance at an "Extra" interview, surprising host Lawrence Zarian. Zarian was interviewing Bullock's co-stars from "Practical Magic 2", Xolo Maridueña and Solly McLeod. As the newcomers glanced over at Bullock before she entered the interview room, Zarian exclaimed, "Shut up. You don't understand." He then embraced Bullock and placed her on his lap.

The pair began discussing their shared past experiences working at Canastel's in New York City. Bullock revealed that they used to pretend she was pregnant to attract extra tips, while Zarian recounted how they discovered they both spoke German, which led them to entertain customers by pretending she was his girlfriend. Zarian chuckled, "We sort of hooked ourselves out to make more money."

McLeod was visibly shocked when Zarian recounted their antics, asking incredulously, "This is a real thing?" Zarian admitted to feeling inadequate, believing he was doing a poor job since the young actors kept avoiding eye contact with him, thinking he was "awful." After Bullock departed, Zarian took a moment to gather himself before addressing the actors, saying, "I’ve been doing this for 35 years and what you are is you are your history.

She's a part of my history. And because of my history and what I was taught from my parents and who I am in this business, I get to do what I love for 35 years."
