Russian House Shutdown: Decisive Move or Convenient Timing?
Berlin’s Russian House is the largest of a worldwide network operated by sanctioned Kremlin agency Rossotrudnichestvo. Critics accuse it of spreading propaganda, supporting Russian influence operations and using litigation to intimidate journalists. Germany has now announced its closure, but it is using an ordinary non-renewal clause that will not take effect until June 2027.
