Prajaseva activities to be launched in Belagavi

Belagavi district will witness the launch of Prajaseva, the public grievance redressal department, on Saturday. In-charge Minister Satish Jarkiholi will inaugurate the initiative by chairing the inaugural meeting at Lokamanya bhavan in Khanapur. The event will be attended by MLA Vithal Halgekar, Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Roshan, Zilla Panchayat CEO Rahul Shindhe, and SP K. Ramarajan.

Under the scheme, district-level public service movement meetings will be held on the first and third Saturdays of every month, with district in-charge Ministers presiding over the gatherings. At the taluk level, MLAs will chair the meetings every second and fourth Saturday. The public can submit their grievances at Deputy Commissioners' offices, tahsildar offices, or gram panchayats, as well as during the meetings.

The terms and conditions for submitting grievances stipulate that they must be written in English and in full sentences.
