Penunggang motosikal cedera langgar kabel terjuntai dari jejambat landasan MRT

A motorcyclist was injured after colliding with a fallen overhead power cable between Sri Raya and Bandar Tun Hussein Onn MRT stations early today, Rapid KL reported. The accident also caused damage to several vehicles. The company stated they received reports of injuries to people and vehicles after passing through the area. One motorcyclist received emergency treatment before being taken to Hospital Kajang for further care.

Rapid KL quickly mobilized technical staff to the site to conduct an inspection and take immediate action. They confirmed that the cable had been rerouted to prevent any future risk to road users. Investigation findings indicated that the overhead structure and train-related systems were unaffected, while MRT Line Kajang services remained uninterrupted and operating normally.

Rapid KL emphasized that they are currently cooperating with traffic authorities and relevant parties to gather more information and conduct a thorough investigation into the incident. Initial site inspections revealed that the affected cable had been cut, suggesting possible cable theft.
