Opinion: Palestine will outlast Blair and his grotesque 'Board of Peace'

Former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair's recent reported interference in the Middle East remains shocking, especially considering his reputation as a mediator. However, from Blair, it seems almost fitting. According to Jeremy Greenstock, Britain's ex-ambassador to the United Nations, he was told by a ministerial-level source that Blair requested the Palestinian Authority (PA) to eliminate references to "Palestine" from their school curriculum.

What is even more astonishing, as reported by Middle East Eye, the request did not merely involve removing the word "Palestine," but rather replacing it with "Samaria." This term, "Samaria," is the biblical Hebrew designation used by Israel for a portion of the occupied West Bank and holds significant ideological weight within the Israeli settler movement.
