Los que no salieron a manifestarse en Ceuta: “Tengo miedo a que pueda pasar algo”

While a massive demonstration wove through Ceuta and hundreds of thousands gathered in town halls across Spain, a group of teenagers waited by the beach. They remained quiet, refraining from the usual commotion, as fewer voices were heard than usual at El Trampolín beach, where thousands of migrants had been sleeping for a month.

Word spread that this time, Ceuta had mobilized en masse during the largest and most populous demonstration to date. Zacarías, Ahmed, and Kaja awaited the conclusion of the event and expressed understanding for the frustration of Ceutians. Separated by a few streets, they simply waited for the day to end before they could move freely through the city. Meanwhile, they remained on the promenade surrounding El Trampolín and Benítez beaches.
