Lollapalooza India 2027 lineup out: Olivia Dean, Limp Bizkit, KATSEYE and more to perform

The official lineup for Lollapalooza India 2027 has been unveiled, but the announcement has drawn significant criticism from music enthusiasts. Scheduled for January 23 and 24, 2027, at Mumbai's Mahalaxmi Racecourse, the fifth edition of the festival will showcase a blend of international and Indian artists across four stages. Renowned international performers include Limp Bizkit, Olivia Dean, Katseye, 5 Seconds Of Summer, Fontaines D.C., St. Vincent, Steve Angello, Yousuke Yukimatsu, and Stewart Copeland of The Police, who will join fusion artist Ricky Kej.

Several of these international acts are making their Indian debuts, offering fans a chance to witness them live in the country for the first time.

Indian artists bring a diverse array of musical styles to the lineup. Singer-songwriter Anuv Jain joins fusion veterans Indian Ocean, instrumental group Blackstratblues, singer-songwriter Kayan, Rajasthani folk ensemble The Manganiyar Seduction, post-hardcore band Scribe, Gujarati vocalist Aditya Gadhvi, and fusion artist Varijashree Venugopal.

The festival aims to create a genre-diverse experience, with indie, folk, rock, electronic, pop, and fusion acts sharing the same stage. However, the announcement has been met with mixed reactions. While several fans expressed disappointment, with comments like "Worst lineup of all time delete it alr" and "mood hi kharab kardiya," others were critical of the eclectic mix of artists, describing it as "an absolute chaotic mess" and jokingly suggesting the festival organizers might invite the reporter next.
