Kayshon Boutte takes Mike Vrabel's "inactive" comment in stride

Kayshon Boutte remains unfazed by Mike Vrabel's comments about him being inactive during his time with the Patriots. Despite the team trading for A.J. Brown, signing Romeo Doubs, and bringing back key players, Boutte found himself on the outside looking in. In an interview with Timothy Rapp of the Bleacher Report, Boutte stated, "They did pay two guys to come in and do that job," acknowledging that his contract year led him to seek a bigger role elsewhere.

The Texans' acquisition of Boutte, who has consistently excelled in his two seasons with 76 receptions for 1,140 yards and nine touchdowns, was driven by their need to bolster their receiving corps following Jayden Higgins' season-ending injury. The wide receiver emphasized that Vrabel's remarks were honest and not meant to be fuel for further action, stating, "I wouldn't say I'll use that as fuel."

Boutte, known for his big-playmaking ability, expressed gratitude for the Texans' belief in his talent and pledged to seize every opportunity during his final season with the team.
