Iru Ekun’ll support Tinubu in fight against bandits, kidnappers in South-West – Igboho

Yoruba activist Sunday Adeyemo, known as Igboho, declared on Thursday that the Iru Ekun Security Outfit will assist President Bola Tinubu in combating bandits, kidnappers, and other criminals in the South-West region. In a statement released by his Media Office, Igboho emphasized that the security group remains committed to eliminating bandits and kidnappers until complete success is achieved.

He urged the public to inform security agencies about any criminal activities. The statement noted, "It is evident to everyone that the negative actions of dishonest herdsmen, thieves, and kidnappers, who have plagued our agricultural lands and communities, have ceased since the Iru Ekun Security Network began collaborating with support from the police, military, and DSS agents."

Igboho affirmed that the outfit has no intention of stopping or backing down until the South-West forests, highways, and farming areas are secure for all. He stressed the necessity of making every possible human and legal effort to support President Tinubu's administration, which established Iru Ekun to promote the development of the South-West region and other parts of Nigeria.

The activist reiterated their determination to continue fighting bandits, kidnappers, and other criminals in the South-West. Igboho highlighted a decrease in cases of kidnapping, bandit attacks, and clashes between herders and farmers, attributing this progress to their ongoing efforts to maintain safety in the region.
