Intellian Presents Advanced Commercial Maritime, Dual-Use, and Mil/Gov Connectivity Solutions as SMM 2026 Opens

Intellian Technologies, Inc., a global leader in satellite communication solutions, is showcasing its advanced commercial maritime, dual-use, and military connectivity technologies at SMM 2026 opening today in Hamburg. The company's OneWeb LEO maritime portfolio of Flat Panels, which are gaining popularity for operators seeking high bandwidth, low latency, and compact form factors, are a highlight of the exhibition.

Furthermore, these panels act as the low-latency backbone for Inmarsat's NexusWave solution, a hybrid multi-orbit system.

Intellian is showcasing its new VS60, a 65cm maritime terminal designed for the ViaSat-3 constellation, as well as the only antenna manufacturer supplying hardware across the entire NexusWave spectrum. This creates an interconnected service for unified hybrid fleet connectivity. GMDSS compliance, which protects 1.9 million seafarers worldwide, is a critical aspect that Intellian addresses. The company is exhibiting its full range of Iridium Certus® GMDSS systems, offering a dedicated terminal for each service tier.

At SMM 2026, Intellian is also highlighting its dual-use LEO solutions, including the OW11FM and OW10HM Maritime Flat Panel Series, and the OW7MP Manpack Antenna for portable operations. The stand will showcase the European debut of Intellian's new GMDSS Console, factory-assembled and pre-wired for streamlined installation on ships.
