GTA 6 is getting two limited edition dualsense PS5 controllers

During the Sony State of Play livestream, two limited edition Grand Theft Auto 6 PS5 DualSense controllers were unveiled. One controller is black, while the other is white. Both controllers share the palm tree leaf design and a color-shifting finish. The controllers display the game's name on the back, as well as Roman numerals for six on the touchpad in the GTA font, with additional palm tree styling.

PlayStation Direct will be the platform for ordering the controllers, starting on September 10th, at 10am in each region. The respective prices for the controllers will be $84.99 USD, ¥12,480 (including tax), €84.99, and £74.99. The limited nature of these controllers is unknown, but given the popularity of previous limited edition PlayStation hardware, such as the 30th anniversary bundle, it is expected that these controllers will sell out quickly.

This announcement follows a massive extended gameplay reveal of Grand Theft Auto 6 on Netflix, which caused temporary crashes on both Netflix and gaming streaming platform Twitch. The reveal included various details about the game, such as side activities, a new wanted system, and information on the romance and bond system.
