Dave Bautista has taken to Instagram to share a video of his impressive body transformation, preparing for the role of Kratos in the new God of War TV show. Bautista was officially cast as Kratos last month, and he has been diligently weight training for just three weeks, with two months to go before he hits his target. Unlike other roles where actors have months to prepare, Bautista's turnaround is much shorter, as the show began filming earlier this year.

Ryan Hurst had taken the role previously, but he was injured and will not return until next year, prompting Amazon to quickly hire Bautista. Bautista's transformation is a stark contrast to his recent slim physique, as he had previously lost significant weight and muscle while working on action movies and as a professional wrestler.

Despite some questioning his choice for the role due to his slimmer appearance, Bautista is determined to prove his critics wrong and is hitting the gym hard to become the muscular Kratos fans know and love.
