Cannabis edibles can impair driving, even with blood THC below legal limits
The feeling of being "high" on cannabis primarily comes from its psychoactive compound, delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC. Alongside it is its more subdued companion, cannabidiol (CBD), often used for its potential therapeutic benefits. THC is also found in many familiar edibles, from soft, chewy candies to brownies and chocolates, and can affect the brain when consumed.
