Calvo Mistari, Naiboi release two singles ahead of album release

Kenyan musicians Calvo Mistari and Naiboi have dropped two new singles in anticipation of their forthcoming album, 308. Titled "Nataka Nikujue" featuring Nessa DeDiva and "Give Me Your Love" also featuring Nessa DeDiva and Sydney 125, the tracks represent the duo's new publishing imprint, Room 308. The songs are produced by Jegede with mixing and mastering by Musyoka.

They follow a string of successful singles, including "Rudisha", "All My Dreams", "Zama", "The Prize" and "Baddest", building anticipation for the upcoming album.

The duo showcase their natural chemistry and blend Afro-pop and urban sounds in the new releases, emphasizing spontaneity, chemistry, and the thrill of new connections. "Nataka Nikujue" speaks about meeting someone new and making a connection, while "Give Me Your Love" delves into love, attraction, and the confidence to put oneself out there. Both tracks emphasize a playful, feel-good energy that encourages listeners to embrace the moment and see where it leads.

The collaboration with Nessa DeDiva brought fresh energy to the duo's music. DeDiva initially worked on "Give Me Your Love" but was inspired by the chemistry in "Nataka Nikujue" to add her vocals, resulting in a spontaneous studio idea becoming a celebrated collaboration. The double release is part of Calvo Mistari and Naiboi's creative momentum with Room 308.
