Brazil's Embraer gets firm order for eight additional E190-E2 jets from Japan's ANA

Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer has signed a firm order for eight additional E190-E2 jets from Japan's ANA Holdings, expanding their 2025 commitment to 23 units of the regional aircraft, according to a statement released on Thursday. ANA had previously placed 15 E190-E2 orders in February 2025, as part of a larger 77-jet fleet renewal, which also includes models from Boeing and Airbus.

The Japanese company retains the option to order five more E190-E2 jets. Embraer anticipates the first aircraft delivery in 2028, as reported by the company. It is noteworthy that ANA's current fleet does not feature any Embraer aircraft, as the company ranks third globally in aircraft manufacturing.
