Jenkins insists he was the one responsible for the dislocation, emphasizing that he was striking Perry with right hands and spinning elbows.

He successfully left-elbowed Perry, causing his shoulder to pop out. Jenkins claims he covered up from the uppercuts and set Perry's shoulder out of place. Despite the inspiring performance, Jenkins has faced negative comments from MMA fans on social media, which he finds perplexing. He remains focused on seeking a rematch with Perry, preferably at welterweight under the MVP MMA banner.

However, he acknowledges the healing time required for Perry's shoulder, which could range from six months to a year. Jenkins hopes to face Nate Diaz next, as he claims he had beaten up Diaz's best friend, Chris Avila, and was surprised by Diaz's lack of desire to continue the rivalry.
