Belkin says its new ‘BoostSolid’ Qi2 batteries last 3x longer than your other magnetic power banks

Belkin unveiled two new magnetic Qi2 battery banks at IFA 2026, boasting a revolutionary "BoostSolid" solid-state technology. These UltraCharge Pro models can wirelessly charge devices at a maximum of 15W. Although the Qi2 standard isn't brand-new, many magnetic batteries fail to reach this power output. Belkin introduced two magnetic Qi2 batteries: a 5,000mAh and a 10,000mAh option.

Both boast the BoostSolid technology, which Belkin claims can last up to three times longer than other power banks. The battery retains 80% capacity after 1,000 charge cycles, equating to a lifespan of five years with a full charge cycle every two days. The UltraCharge Pro Slim, the more compact option, offers 5,000mAh of power while the larger version has twice the capacity and includes a battery status display.

Notably, the 10,000mAh UltraCharge Pro can deliver 60W wired charging from a single port, making it suitable for charging larger devices like laptops or gaming handhelds. The Slim version is also practical for those who prioritize portability. Both models are Qi2 15W certified, with the larger model capable of wired charging up to 60W.

The UltraCharge Pro Slim 5K and UltraCharge Pro 10K Qi2 batteries will be available from retailers such as Amazon and Belkin's website starting this month.
