Amir receives message from President of Uzbekistan

Doha, Qatar - Qatar's Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a verbal message from Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, discussing bilateral relations and shared regional and international concerns, according to a report.

The message was conveyed by Uzbekistan's Head of the Presidential Administration, Saida Mirziyoyeva, during a meeting with HH the Amir and her delegation at his office in Lusail Palace.

The meeting kicked off with Mirziyoyeva delivering greetings from President Mirziyoyev, wishing the Amir continued success and progress for the Qatari people. In response, the Amir conveyed his own greetings to the President, extending wishes for his health and well-being and the continued development of the Uzbek people.

During the discussion, the pair reviewed the state of bilateral ties between their nations and explored avenues for strengthening these relations in various sectors. The meeting also included participation from HH the Amir's Chief of the Amiri Diwan, Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khulaifi, and Sheikha Al-Mayassa bint Hamad Al-Thani, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of Qatar Museums.
