Adley Rutschman returned to Baltimore and hit two home runs, leading the Boston Red Sox to a 6-5 victory over the Orioles on Thursday night. Nick Sogard's two-run homer in the eighth inning broke a 3-all tie after Luis Robert Jr. and Pete Alonso had led the Orioles to a 3-1 lead after consecutive fourth-inning homers. Roman Anthony added a solo homer in the ninth inning, making the score 6-3. Erik Miller came in relief and won the game, while Aroldis Chapman secured his 31st save in 33 chances despite allowing a two-run homer in the ninth.
