During a town hall meeting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Obi emphasized the importance of ensuring that every Nigerian vote counts. He cautioned against anyone attempting to manipulate the electoral process, stating that if such attempts were made, the individuals responsible would face consequences.

He criticized the current trend of outsourcing political campaigns, expressing his dissatisfaction with the practice.
