2 DAYS TO 2026 KICKOFF: Damion Miller

Kansas State Wildcats cornerback Damion Miller, a redshirt sophomore from Hermanville, Mississippi, is set to join the team for the 2026 season. Miller, who transferred from Southern Mississippi and Southwest Mississippi Community College after redshirting and not seeing game action in 2024, is battling for a starting or relief role alongside David Garrett and Kaleb Patterson.

Born on September 20, 2005, Miller is 6-3 and weighs 195 lbs. He majors in sociology and is currently on scholarship. Miller's standout season at SMCC included 23 tackles, 4 tackles for loss, and an interception, with notable performances against Northwest Mississippi, Jones College, and East Central. He also contributed as a basketball player and track athlete during his high school career in Claiborne County, Mississippi.

Miller's cousin, Kenneth Gainwell, is a former NFL player who has played for the Philadelphia Eagles, Pittsburgh Steelers, and currently for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
