West Ham sign left-back Boiro on loan

West Ham United have secured left-back Adama Boiro on a season-long loan from Athletic Club, with the possibility of a permanent purchase. At 24 years old, Boiro has amassed 45 appearances for Athletic Club, including six in the Champions League last season. In expressing his enthusiasm for the club, Boiro stated, "I like the challenge that's in front of us here.

This is a club with ambition and an objective to get promoted, and I think my mentality, my desire and my hard work will help my team-mates and the club achieve that." Boiro is West Ham's ninth signing this summer, following the acquisitions of Keiber Lamadrid, Joel Veltman, Manor Solomon, Arne Engels, Joel Piroe, Divine Mukasa, Edvin Austbo, and Morato.
