Veteran OL Chuma Edoga plans to sign with Ravens

Veteran offensive lineman Chuma Edoga is set to join the Baltimore Ravens before the start of the regular season, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler. While the team has not officially announced the move, it is believed Edoga will start his NFL career with Baltimore, either on the active roster or the practice squad. Over the course of his seven-season career in the NFL, Edoga has amassed 62 appearances in regular-season games, tallying 25 starts.

His versatility has allowed him to play both tackle positions and guard. Initially drafted by the New York Jets in the third round of the 2019 draft, Edoga spent his first three seasons with the New York Giants before moving on to the Atlanta Falcons, Dallas Cowboys, and Jacksonville Jaguars. During the 2025 season, Edoga was a key player for Jacksonville, appearing in all 17 games and starting six times, with four starts at left tackle and two at left guard.

This positional flexibility will serve him well in competing for a reserve role on Baltimore's offensive line. The Ravens currently have nine offensive linemen on their initial 53-man roster, with Gerad Lichtenhan, Nick Dawkins and AJ Arcuri providing additional depth on the practice squad. The season-ending knee injury of Danny Pinter has further reduced the number of experienced options available during training camp, making Edoga an attractive addition to the Ravens.

If the Ravens decide to add Edoga to their active roster, they will need to make a corresponding move elsewhere. Regardless of his initial designation, the signing provides the Ravens with proven depth at a position where injuries can quickly disrupt their plans.
