US eyes airlines, digital assets as Iran-related targets, Bessent says

During an appearance on Fox News following the recent G20 summit in North Carolina, Bessent cautioned against providing support to Iran, urging everyone to "stay away" from the regime.

The secretary's remarks came after Russian President Vladimir Putin backed Iran, emphasizing the importance of ending the conflict by refraining from supporting Tehran. Bessent also mentioned that the administration would be discussing targets such as airline leasing companies and further Iran bank sanctions in the coming days.
