URCS provides aid to victims of Russian air attack on Odesa

The Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) has provided assistance to victims in Odesa following a Russian air attack overnight. The URCS emergency response team in the Odesa region collaborated with other emergency services at the affected sites, according to a report on the URCS's Facebook page on Wednesday. Volunteers conducted an assessment of the area, identified victims, provided first aid to four individuals, and offered psychological first aid to those suffering from acute stress reactions.

The attack resulted in eight injuries, including a child, with two people requiring hospitalization. A 24-story residential building suffered significant damage, with several floors destroyed and windows blown out in nearby structures. Vehicles were also damaged. Office buildings and two educational institutions were also affected by the destruction. The Russian attack has led to the suspension of public transportation.
