Transfer deadline: Confirmed Arsenal’s ins, outs [See list]

In the recent 2026 summer transfer window, Arsenal made a significant move by signing at least eleven new players. However, the club's ambition to bolster their attacking lineup was thwarted as they failed to secure an elite forward. Instead, they are now left short of two key players after the departures of three senior members, along with the loaning of Ethan Nwaneri.

To shore up their squad, Arsenal confirmed the following new arrivals: Bruno Guimaraes from Newcastle United for £75 million, Ezri Konsa from Aston Villa for £55 million, Piero Hincapie from Bayer Leverkusen for £37.5 million, Christos Tzolis from Club Brugge for £34 million, and Illan Meslier on a free transfer. Additionally, they signed Igor Tyjon from Blackburn Rovers, James Scanlos and Habeeb Ogunneye for undisclosed fees to Manchester United.

The club's efforts to improve their attacking options also resulted in the departure of several key players. Gabriel Martinelli is expected to join Al Hilal for £60 million, albeit the announcement is still pending. Leandro Trossard moved to Besiktas for £17 million, Jakub Kiwior joined FC Porto for £14.7 million, Gabriel Jesus transferred to Barcelona for £12 million, Fabio Vieira went to Hamburger SV for £7.7 million, Christian Norgaard signed with Everton for £7 million, and Karl Hein moved to Werder Bremen for £2.5 million.

In a contrasting move, Arsenal loaned Ethan Nwaneri to Borussia Dortmund, while he remains available to other clubs. Reiss Nelson has been released as a free agent. The club also allowed at least nine players to leave the Emirates Stadium, including Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli.
